Nice Deal! New two-year contract extends Chelsea star Cole Palmer’s stay with the club until 2033

Cole Palmer has extended his contract with Chelsea by two years, signing new terms. His new contract extends his stay in West London by nine more years, until 2033. Palmer had a fantastic first season for Chelsea after joining from Manchester City in a £40 million deal; he played in 45 games and contributed to 40 goals.

Cole Palmer’s two-year extension with Chelsea keeps him with the club until 2033.The 22-year-old, who joined from Manchester City in an unexpected summer transfer last year, has extended his contract after only one season at Stamford Bridge, signing new terms until 2031.Palmer expressed his joy upon signing the new agreement. “I achieved a lot in my first season here and hopefully I can continue to experience great things at this club, both on a personal level and in terms of bringing success and trophies to Chelsea.”

Palmer was called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024 after an outstanding debut campaign in which he scored 25 goals and created 15 assists in 45 matches across all competitions.Palmer moved from Manchester to West London after having some first-team experience at City, signing a seven-year contract with an initial value of £40 million and an additional £2.5 million in possible add-ons.Along with Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, and Nicolas Jackson, he was one of six high-profile arrivals at Stamford Bridge as a Blues player.After a sluggish start to life in the capital, Palmer finally scored for Chelsea in October 2023 against Burnley from the penalty spot after six appearances.As he established himself as the team’s go-to penalty taker, he scored four goals in a row from the penalty spot.

The dynamic forward made his Three Lions debut in November 2023 after drawing the attention of England boss Gareth Southgate with his impressive goalscoring form.He had a stellar 2024 campaign, scoring 11 goals in only six games.
