Good luck! Defending Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka has joined West Ham United for a reported £15 million

The Hammers have signed the 26-year-old to a seven-year contract.

After leaving Crystal Palace for Manchester United in a £50 million deal in 2019, Wan-Bissaka made 190 appearances for the Red Devils and scored twice.

After Jean-Clair Todibo, Crysencio Summerville, Luis Guilherme, Niclas Fullkrug, Wes Foderingham, Max Kilman, and Guido Rodriguez, this defender becomes West Ham’s seventh summer acquisition at London Stadium. The signing with West Ham was “a no brainer” for Wan-Bissaka, who expressed his joy and excitement at the news.

As soon as I step foot on the field, I will make an effort to get to know the other players.

“I see a group of people that are committed to the team’s success, who will support and encourage one another to do our best, and who have each other’s backs no matter what. It’s great to be a part of that and to have that support system when you’re on a strong team.”

Returning to the city was a “amazing feeling” for London-born singer-songwriter Wan-Bissaka, according to related news.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was Manchester United manager in 2019, he signed Wan-Bissaka. The defender was the starter until Solskjaer left in 2021.

After Erik ten Hag was appointed in 2022, Wan-Bissaka lost his starting position. However, he still managed 64 appearances in the previous two seasons under the Dutchman.

United are now expected to finalize the signing of the Moroccan international fullback Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich. The move was previously conditional on Wan-Bissaka joining the Hammers.

On August 17, West Ham will face Aston Villa in the 2024–25 Premier League opener, while Manchester United will visit Fulham the following week on August 16.
