If Marcus Rashford wants to put dreadful season in the past, he should listen to Japp Stam’s advise

A return to his peak performance is a goal for the Manchester United player.United veteran Japp Stam has urged Marcus Rashford to shoulder the criticism.

Because of problems outside of football, the United forward had a rough season last year, scoring just eight goals. Because of the widespread disapproval of his play, he was not selected to represent England at Euro 2024 this past summer.

Stam reminded the 26-year-old before opening day that he needs to listen to those around him if he wants to be at his best again.

“I think Marcus Rashford has all the ingredients to be a very good player,” he said on William Hill’s podcast Up Front with Simon Jordan. I simply want to know whether someone is pointing out his shortcomings to him. If so, is he listening to the counsel of those close to him?He should accept the criticism from the team’s coach and teammates and step up to the plate. How he doesn’t even realize he’s not playing well is beyond me. He’s quick and talented; he has to play with more self-assurance.

Triple selection boost confirmed by Erik ten Hag ahead of Fulham opener

Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, has announced a three-man lineup boost for Friday’s Premier League opening against Fulham.

The match between the Cottagers and the Red Devils at Old Trafford marks the beginning of the Premier League season. Ten Hag has announced that Harry Maguire is once again fit to play in the curtain-raiser.

In the Community Shield loss to Manchester City, the England international took a new knock, but he has since recovered swiftly.

The Dutch coach also announced that Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, who joined the team from Bayern Munich this summer, will be playing alongside him.

Both De Ligt and Mazraoui will be part of the team, he assured reporters. Also joining the squad is Harry Maguire.

After an uneven preseason, United lost last weekend’s Community Shield against Pep Guardiola’s team in a penalty shootout.

If the Red Devils can get off to a winning start this season, the fans will be overjoyed. A resounding statement may be made with Friday’s win over the Cottagers.

The official emblem of Brighton & Hove Albion Football ClubPresenting official materialsIt is not going to be easy. In February, Marco Silva’s squad won 2-1 at Old Trafford, and at Craven Cottage, a goal from Bruno Fernandes in stoppage time was the deciding factor.

Tomorrow, United must jump right into the game. With the confidence and momentum gained from an early goal, they would cruise to a comfortable win at home.

After getting back into training, Maguire will most likely start in the middle of defense. One of De Ligt or Mazraoui’s full debuts wouldn’t shock us.

Due to Luke Shaw’s injury, Diogo Dalot may start on the right side of defense while Mazraoui moves to left back.

On the other hand, Lisandro Martinez might start at left back and De Ligt at center defense, with Maguire also starting. It was in the Community Shield that the Argentine got his start.
