Final member of Texas World Series Championship Roster receives his Ring and the utmost joy and excitement are once again brought to life

The 2024 World Series champions have all received their rings, with Aroldis Chapman being the final member of the Texas Rangers’ championship team to be honored. Chapman received his ring during a short pregame ceremony before the Rangers’ game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday at Globe Life Field.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy and general manager Chris Young were on hand to present Chapman with his ring.

At 36 years old, Chapman had a solid performance in the 2023 season with a 3.72 ERA and 50 strikeouts over 29 innings. In the postseason, he delivered an impressive 2.25 ERA and six holds in nine appearances.

Chapman, who signed with the Pirates as a free agent during the offseason, has a record of 4-4 with four saves and a 3.35 ERA in 51 games for Pittsburgh this year. He has recorded 73 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings.

At the start of the season, the Rangers players who remained from the 2023 championship team were awarded their rings in a special ceremony. The club has also presented rings to former players who have since joined other teams when they have visited Arlington, including Mitch Garver of Seattle, Cole Ragans, Chris Stratton, and Will Smith of the Royals, as well as Jordan Montgomery of the Rockies.

Chapman ranks 20th all-time with 325 career saves. He holds the 6th spot for strikeouts per nine innings in postseason history with a rate of 12.4 and is tied for 8th all-time with 10 postseason saves. Additionally, he ranks 10th for the most postseason appearances with 44.
