According to reports, Barcelona is scouting Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho in anticipation of a possible loan transfer.

Barcelona is hoping to add a winger to their roster before the transfer market closes, and Federico Chiesa of Juventus is their top target.

But Sport reports that Sancho is being considered as a backup plan by Barcelona.

United would want Barcelona to cover the 24-year-old’s whole wage for the season, therefore a loan move for him is highly doubtful, according to the source.

Given Barcelona’s financial woes, a trade including Sancho—who reportedly makes over £15 million per year—would be extremely implausible.Dani Olmo, who recently joined the team from RB Leipzig, is already unable to register with Hansi Flick’s squad.
