In the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off battle, the Blues faced Servette, a Swiss Pro League side, at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca’s team cruised to a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke in the second half.

Mykhailo Mudryk missed a lot of passes, and the Blues were uninspired when they had the ball.

According to writer Ryan Taylor, Maresca was ‘losing patience’ with Mudryk by the conclusion of the first half, and the Ukrainian international was a major source of frustration for him.”He’s been incredibly indecisive and wasted several promising attacks,” Taylor added. Even though Maresca is attempting to guide him, Mudryk seems bewildered whenever the ball is out of his hands. Misses the mark when it comes to pressing.

A subsequent nutmeg by Mudryk following an impressive display of ability caused the spectators to gasp in awe.

However, the player, who had just signed for £88.5 million from Shakhtar Donetsk, promptly passed the ball off his foot.

Taylor stated that Maresca then rolled his eyes, waved his arms, and turned away in disappointment.Rumor has it that the new Chelsea manager will bring out Mudryk’s best performance.

After a lackluster debut for Chelsea, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards of The Rest is Football podcast shared the opinion that the speedy winger “needs a manager to believe in him” despite his plenty of talent.

That’s not all, Shearer remarked. At Chelsea, he has had a really tough time. There is potential in him, but he has a long way to go before he can be considered finished.

“He definitely has something,” Richards chimed in. He requires the support of a manager who believes in him and a string of games where he may gradually gain confidence, even after a few poor performances.
