As a Β£2 million deal to leave Manchester United becomes near, Cardiff head makes a “quality” Will Fish claim

There will certainly be a plethora of departures in the last week of the transfer season, despite Manchester United’s desire to bring in a couple more players.

Last week, Aaron Wan-Bissaka officially joined West Ham.

Also, Manchester United are expected to finalize deals for Will Fish, Maxi Oyedele, Facundo Pellistri, and Radek Vitek, all of whom are young players.

On loan from FC Blau-Weiss Linz in Austria, goalkeeper Vitek has made the transfer. Legia Warsaw, a Polish powerhouse, confirmed Oyedele’s signing on Thursday, while Pellistri signed for Panathinaikos for Β£5 million.

Although Fish’s transfer to Cardiff City has not been finalized just yet, negotiations are moving forward swiftly.

The former Hibernian loanee has reportedly undergone medical testing in preparation for a possible Β£2 million transfer, according to Wales Online.
Will Fish reportedly poised to leave Manchester United for Cardiff City, though Erol Bulut, manager of Cardiff City, has remained mum on the matter.
He does, however, concede that a team in search of a center-back to replace Mark McGuinnessβ€”a newcomer to Luton Townβ€”has his eye on Fish.

Bulut tells Wales Online, “Fish is a good player.” At 21 years old, he is a youthful center back. We are concentrating on him, but I am unsure of our progress (in terms of closing the deal).

During his final two years at Hibernian, he played. Like McGuinness before him, this young man was talented and headed to Luton Town.

“In addition to adding quality to the team, he can potentially come β€” I’m not sure where the deal is.”

Born in Manchester, Will Fish is a homegrown talent with less than a year left on his contract after spending more than a decade in the academy.

With Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro joining Erik ten Hag’s defensive ranks, he has only played in one first-team match for the Red Devils.

Fish, who has two outstanding campaigns under his belt with Hibernian in Edinburgh, is moving to South Wales after being captained by England at the Under 19 level.

After revealing his desire to sign Fish permanently, former Hibs boss Nick Montgomery was let go at Easter Road two months later.

Will probably doesn’t require our pitch. He takes great pleasure in representing Hibs. Fish, who played in more than 70 games for the club, was described by Montgomery as “really loving the club and I think he enjoys the way we play” when speaking to the Edinburgh News.

Montgomery had anticipated in April that Hibs would have competition for Fish’s services as they headed to the Championship following their Hibernian tenure. Cardiff is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for the former Leeds and Sheffield United midfielder, so clubs in the south of the border aren’t astonished.

“What he has available to him, in the end, will determine the outcome,” Montgomery stated back then. His play this season, including his results at home, is likely to catch the eye of other clubs.

We are a well-known club. Consequently, it will be the optimal choice for Will. We will undoubtedly be one of those choices.

But I have no doubt that many more will follow. No matter what happens, we will be there to back Will up.

Fish is likely to miss the first few weeks of his Cardiff career. During preseason, he hurt his knee.
