Rio Ferdinand shares his judgment on Manuel Ugarte, the upcoming signing by Manchester United: “He’s an economical footballer.”

The impending arrival of Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain has been assessed by Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender.

United and PSG reportedly completed a deal agreement for Ugarte on Tuesday.

United have reportedly spent weeks trying to sign their top midfield target, and they are now prepared to pay £42 million plus £8 million in add-ons.

If Wednesday’s rumor is to be believed, Ugarte has already arrived in England for his United medical, and the club will likely announce his signing soon after.

Using similarities to N’Golo Kante, a former Chelsea and Leicester City player, an investigation by The Peoples Person examined Ugarte’s remarkable defensive statistics.

Ugarte, on the other hand, isn’t a high-volume passer like Rodri or Kante, says Ferdinand, who plays for Manchester City.

On his YouTube channel, Ferdinand made the following statement: “I’ve looked at a few of his stats, high-volume stats by the way on tackles and interceptions and duels.”

And he’s Uruguayan, so you know they have that strong, independent spirit. I think the team will benefit greatly from that extra edge he brings.

“He may not have Kante’s speed, but he can press the ball in all sorts of different spots on the field.”

“He won’t be one to receive the ball like Rodri or Busquets and dictate play with long passes and line-jumping.”According to Kante, he is a straightforward passer who keeps things simple. Holds it in motion. Constantly accessible, constantly displayed. Yet, you shouldn’t count on him to complete passes of 30, 40 or more yards. In my opinion, he’s a very frugal footballer.

If Ugarte can be cleared to play in time for United’s match against Liverpool this weekend, the fans’ hopes will be high.
