Manchester United lost 3-0 to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday

Lisandro Martinez, a defender for Manchester United, might not have posted the greatest photo as he arrived for Argentina’s international assignment.

Martinez had a forgettable day on Sunday as United was soundly defeated by bitter rivals Liverpool in the Premier League.

Mo Salah’s goal and a brace from Luis Diaz helped the Reds win 3-0, albeit the difference could have been greater.

Top players have now reunited with their nations for the international break, and Martinez has offended some United fans on social media with a message.

The 26-year-old uploaded two pictures: one of himself with Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and the other of him arriving for Argentina duty.

Lisandro Martinez has come under fire for tweeting a few days following Man United’s loss.

Martinez chose to post a photo with the only Argentina star who plays for Liverpool

Martinez made the decision to share a picture of himself with the lone Liverpool player from Argentina.

And the fact that he had choose to picture with the lone Argentinean Liverpool player astounded United supporters.

Someone wrote, “What a goon.” “They have no idea what modern players are like anymore.”

“I understand what they mean when they say ‘game’s gone,'” another person commented.

Everyone seemed to agree that the United man made a mistake in judgment.
