Chelsea fans have been left in awe after the Blues shared a clip of Jadon Sancho training with the club for the first time

Chelsea fans are in amazement after the Blues posted a video of Jadon Sancho training with the club for the first time.

On deadline day, Sancho signed a loan contract with Chelsea that might turn permanent at the conclusion of the season. Last season, he was dropped from Manchester United due to a public disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the 2023-24 season after a disagreement with the United boss. Ten Hag welcomed him back in pre-season.

Now, he has returned to London, where he grew up, to sign as a Chelsea player, and appears to have enjoyed his first days.

And in his first training session as a Blues player, the 24-year-old put in some great performances, leaving fans excited about what he could contribute to the team.

The clip showed Sancho completing a number of passing and shooting drills in the session

He could be seen curling in a number of efforts in one section of the clip

The video showed Sancho completing a series of passing and shooting drills throughout the workout.

One admirer commented on the video on X, formerly Twitter, claiming Sancho’s shooting practice demonstrated his preparedness.

‘He’s going to have a significant impact on the team,’ another wrote.

A third wrote, ‘Let’s go, starboy.’

The clips began with the England player preparing for the training session before heading to the practice pitches with his teammates.

He was then shown doing some passing exercises and chatting with his teammates before the footage shifted to a shooting session.

Sancho could be seen curling several attempts into the net, and the video then turned to a talk with Enzo Maresca.

Much was made of Ten Hag’s relationship with Ten Hag when he publicly questioned his manager, but Sancho has been full of praise for his new employer, saying that he was the primary reason he chose to join Chelsea.

‘I believe it’s the management,’ he remarked, explaining why he switched clubs. ‘I knew him from my time at Manchester City and when he was with Pep [Guardiola].

‘He told me over the phone about his idea and what he was constructing here, which is intriguing for a young player like me.

They’re signing me for a purpose. I believe it is his style of play, specifically the wingers. When they acquire the ball, he prefers them to go 1 on 1 and be direct. They do a lot of one-twos with the 10s and striker, so it’s quite appealing.

Sancho, meanwhile, revealed that two Chelsea legends were his idols growing up in his first interview as a Blues player.

‘Chelsea is iconic,’ he said. ‘My idols growing up were Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard.

‘Now I have the opportunity to play for this club, it’s a great feeling. It’s going to be nice.’
