Luton is off to a very poor start this season, despite hopeful signals before to the campaign. After four games, Rob Edwards’ army has only managed one point, placing them 23rd in the English First Division.

And just now, Luton Town made the decision to add free agent striker Victor Moses to their roster to bolster their offensive. Due to his contract expiring, this winger left Spartak Moscow during the summer transfer window.

Even though Victor Moses has only played 60 minutes in friendly matches behind closed doors and is still not at his peak, head coach Rob Edwards is certain that Moses can improve Luton’s caliber and depth.

We have been in negotiations with Victor for a considerable amount of time. He played a 60-minute game in a closed friendly last week after working out with us. We decided to go forward since we believed he could assist. He can play on the wing or as a number 10, which provides us greater depth and adaptability.”

At 33 years old, Victor Moses is past his prime. Since 2020, this player has made just 84 appearances for Spartak Moscow.

It’s rare to hear about Victor Moses as a former Chelsea player. However, Moses’ goals in the quarter- and semifinal-finals helped Chelsea win the 2012–13 Europa League.

Additionally, under Antonio Conte, Victor Moses started 29 games as Chelsea won the Premier League in 2016–17. Over the course of 128 games, the Nigerian player gave Chelsea 18 goals and 12 assists.

Victor Moses’s tenth team of his career is Luton. Along with Crystal Palace, Wigan, Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce, and Inter Milan, this player also played for those teams.
