Josie has been the cover girl for some renowned magazines over the years, including Maxim, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Harper’s Bazaar, and has also been the playmate for one of Playboy’s issues.
She had a topsy-turvy childhood as she had to go through her parents divorce, and after that,Ā Jose CansecoĀ filed for bankruptcy in 2012 after blowing all his savings.
She was born in November 1996, just two months after her parents, Jose Canseco and Jessica Canseco, married each other in August 1996 in Miami, Florida. At the time Jose was dealing with a back injury he sustained while playing a major league game with theĀ Red Sox.
Despite Jessica and Jose Canseco parting ways, overtime they settled their disputes and agreed to co-parent their daughter. From a very early age, their daughter knew she wanted to be a fashion model and used to watch fashion shows and mimic the antics of some of the top models.

In an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam issue,Ā JosieĀ responded to the question about the key moments in her life, which led her to believe that modeling was the best career choice for her.
“I donāt think if Iāve ever really āknownā modelling was for me. I just grew passionate about what it entailed. I fell in love with modelling as I love working with new people every day, traveling the world alone and experiencing different cultures.””Exercising constantly, keeping a structured sleep schedule with good nutrition, discipline and self-awareness are so important in helping me live my best life.”
She continues to make a name for herself and is becoming a guiding voice for young aspirants looking for a breakthrough in the fashion industry.
