James only made 16 Premier League games in the 2022–2023 season due to injuries he has sustained during the previous two seasons.
After being chosen club captain before of the season, he was subsequently limited to just 413 minutes in the previous campaign.According to reports published last month, James’s recuperation from a recent hamstring strain appeared to have taken a turn for the worse.
James’ return has been postponed, according to Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who also stated that he has no set timeline for his return.With a recent social media post, the 24-year-old encouraged supporters.
James updated his Instagram story with a number of images, one of which included him alongside fellow Blues player Enzo Fernandez.
In another picture, he was seen with designer Olaolu Slawn, posing with Chelsea jerseys.
