Palmer has been playing for Chelsea in incredible form this season. In seven games, he has scored six goals and provided five assists, including a record-breaking four goals against Brighton, all of which came in the first half. Madueke has now praised the playmaker for having almost infinite talent.
Palmer has already established an incredible record for Chelsea, tallying 31 goals and dishing out 20 assists in 54 matches. Remarkably, he made just 41 appearances for Manchester City prior to moving to Stamford Bridge, with just three of those being Premier League starts. Additionally, he was chosen as England’s Player of the Season.
Madueke stated to reporters, “I believe that he has limitless potential.” I have no idea what his ceiling is, if he even has one. However, I think the form he’s displaying right now is amazing. And I merely hope he can carry on like that.
When England plays Finland and Greece in the Nations League, Palmer and Madueke might both be involved. After that, their goal will be to propel Chelsea into the top four.
Romano: “The most important part” of Chelsea’s significant overhaul, per an insider
We can all evaluate the season thus far during the international break, which as a Chelsea supporter can only mean with satisfaction.
Following a summer in which things didn’t always go as planned, the season is off to a really solid start, which has improved everyone’s mood and confidence.
Fabrizio Romano has been covering the change under Enzo Maresca exclusively for CaughtOffside:
Romano commented, “I think Enzo Maresca deserves credit after his arrival this summer in what was not the easiest moment. It’s been a really strong start to the season for Chelsea.”
“I’ve been informed that Maresca is having a very positive tactical influence on these guys, and the outcomes have been evidently positive. The players are all very delighted with Maresca because of how straightforward and honest he is, and the supporters are embracing that too. This season, Stamford Bridge has a different vibe to it. However, that is not the most important aspect.
He is not incorrect. The team is operating with a lot better attitude, which is producing better outcomes and, in turn, improving the atmosphere in the stadium. Thus far, everything is going smoothly.
In closing, Romano said, “Let’s give Maresca time to continue his impressive work. He’s done a great job so far. However, this project is obviously a long-term one, so there might still be a few ups and downs.”Phase one of Enzo’s project is nearly finished under the new coach as it gets ready for the stress test. He is acclimating his new players, getting everyone used to his style and system, and getting his feet under the table. The morale is high and the outcomes have been positive.
The games are becoming harder now, and it will be interesting to see if this team can manage moving on to the next level. As the new product undergoes a thorough stress test, the upcoming batch of games promises to be immensely captivating.
