Alvaro Carreras is available to Manchester United for just €20 million

Attempts by Manchester United to sign Benfica defender Alvaro Carreras have been mentioned.After a fruitful loan stint at Benfica, the 21-year-old signed a contract worth approximately €6 million to join the club. He has a repurchase provision in his contract with Manchester United, and he has recently been linked to a return to the Premier League team.
