Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Rasmus Hojlund were among the members of the outer circle who shared Wheatley’s blend of senior and academy names.

“I thought his performance today was fantastic. You can see his potential. After Brentford’s victory, the Dutchman stated, “We want to see this every game because then you see what he can contribute to the team.”Extremely intense, followed by a spectacular cross. The cross was a lot of fun to see, but I also thought the finish was fantastic.

“I believe that everyone is aware of his great potential and that he will score goals, as he did at Porto, when he has this mindset. However, he also provided assists, like he did today and in Porto.”

“But it also starts with a fighting spirit and 100% intensity,” he continued.

“When we bring all this on the pitch, we have a team that can progress and play for trophies this season.”
