While the Spanish sensation of Euro 2024 is experiencing a spectacular resurgence at Stamford Bridge, Marc Cucurella claims that all Chelsea need to do to secure Champions League football for next season.
The left back, who joined from Brighton, has become something of a cult icon at the club, despite the fact that his own fans booed him in the past because they thought he was a £63 million waste of money.
Cucurella, who helped Spain beat England in the 2024 Euro final and is currently playing midfield for Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea, is reportedly enjoying his new role. The only things that are lacking are a trophy and an invitation to the most prestigious competition in Europe.
The situation shifted rapidly, according to Cucurella. I made an effort to focus on myself and how I can improve. Something significant has begun to take shape, therefore we must not stop now.
We have a personal life and face challenges on occasion, but right now we’re doing great. Work on myself is something I strive for. I make an effort to boost my self-assurance.I’m not good at it. That’s the toughest part of playing football. If you play poorly enough, you might start to believe that you are the worst player ever. On a different day, you can feel like the greatest if you perform well.
Keep yourself in the center, though. Losing does not make you a bad person. You aren’t the best even if you win. Stay still, think about how you can get better, and see if you can build on this while having faith in yourself. It takes special qualities to be a Chelsea player. There will be highs and lows in any profession. But the most important thing is to believe in oneself and to work hard at all times.
Cucurella stated, “All of us dream of winning trophies” when asked about Chelsea’s goals for the current season. Everyone in the league is aware of how tough it is.
There are other teams out there that have been working on the same thing for a long time; we have a few challenges ahead of us, but we will definitely be playing in the Champions League next year. For us, it’s paramount.
