Jarrod Bowen’s penalty kick in stoppage time gave the Hammers the victory in the end.

There are no justifications for United’s inability to convert many scoring opportunities, even though the penalty call following a VAR check was clearly contentious.

The greatest player, in our opinion, was Casemiro, who manager Erik ten Hag put back into the starting lineup. He returned Ten Hag’s trust with an outstanding performance overall.In addition to scoring, the Brazilian gave Bruno Fernandes a great opportunity, which he missed.

In the first half, he had another header on goal, but Lukasz Fabianski made an incredible save.

The 32-year-old finished the game with 96 touches and an 86% passing accuracy rate over 90 minutes.

He won seven ground and aerial duels and finished all of his long balls.

With seven clearances and nine recoveries, Casemiro was also an outstanding defensive player.

Even though the £18 million star had his finest game of the season, the Red Devils were unable to move up the league standings.

Instead, after nine games, United is seven points behind the top four and has fallen to 14th place.

The Red Devils’ upcoming league matchup at Old Trafford versus Chelsea will be a challenging challenge.
