The Athletic reports Enzo Maresca has been given a boost with Nicolas Jackson and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scheduled to play their first minutes of pre-season this week.
Currently on their pre-season tour of America, the Blues drew their first game 2-2 against Wrexham before to a devastating 4-1 loss to Celtic in their second.
As preparations for the next season continue, Chelsea has two more games this week against Manchester City and Club America. Maresca will be expecting for a development in performance levels from the first two games.
