After Maresca and defender Benoit Badiashile’s media appearances on Wednesday afternoon, Chelsea wrapped up their Cobbham training preparations.
against Thursday night, they take against FC Noah, an Armenian team that was only established in 2017, at Stamford Bridge.

“We don’t make changes because of the big game on Sunday,” Maresca insisted when asked how many changes would be made for the European match during his pre-game press conference.Since the beginning, we have made adjustments because we have twenty-four and twenty-five players who are all healthy and capable of competing in various events. We are making changes because of this.
Despite the likelihood of changes, young players in the Conference League, such as Tyrique George, Kiano Dyer, and Samuel Rak-Sakyi, have already been called up to the first team. George has appeared in the Carabao Cup match against Barrow in September and has come off the bench against KAA Gent and Panathinaikos.
George might have the chance to start the Conference League game on Thursday since Pedro Neto started against Man United and Jadon Sancho was out by illness and injury. Rak-Sakyi and George would be part of the squad, Maresca revealed.
The head coach of Chelsea said, “Tyrique, for sure, and Sam Rak-Sakyi, too,” in reference to Noah’s engagement in the academy. “We will see.”
However, Rak-Sakyi and George, 18, weren’t the only two training on Wednesday. The senior team also included Ato Ampah, Shim Mheuka, and Zain Silcott-Duberry.
