Cole Palmer during the GQ Men of the Year 2024 celebration

Not every party features Jude Law and Adrien Brody sipping scotch behind the bar. However, not all parties are the 2024 Men of the Year for GQ. Held at The Roof Gardens in collaboration with Jo Malone London and co-hosted by cover stars Law, Nicole Kidman, Central Cee, Kobbie Mainoo, and Cole Palmer, it featured a private dinner where the honorees of the year were honored.

Then, with the help of our partners Sir Davis and Defender, there was a party that went late into the night. Brody jumped right in after arriving straight from the Donmar Warehouse theatre, where he was getting ready for a sold-out run of Lindsey Ferrentino’s death row drama, The Fear of 13.

As the dance floor filled up, Central Cee was stationed across from the DJ booth, ice-cold in double demin, and conversing with Cole Palmer. Speaking of DJs, A. G. Cook, the Man of the Year and Brat mastermind, gave us a fast-paced, no-holds-barred hyperpop set that included a remix of “Bitter Sweet Symphony” to get the party going.

English football legends Leah Williamson, Mary Earps, Alex Scott, and Chloe Kelly (that’s almost a formidable five-a-side team right there) joined in the celebration, as did entertainment and fashion icons Skepta, Haider Ackermann, Richard Gadd, James Norton, Aitch, Marisa Abela, and Caroline Polacheck. Here is a sneak peek at the events of the big night.
