With a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, Chelsea got back on track after the international break in November. Enzo Maresca, who was instrumental in Leicester’s promotion from the Championship last season, made a triumphant return to the East Midlands.

In the 75th minute, Enzo Fernandez scored the second goal for the Blues. After Leicester won a penalty in stoppage time, Jordan Ayew converted it, making it a game-changing goal. Despite Leicester’s best efforts, they were unable to score an equalizer, allowing Chelsea to hold on and take all three points back to London.The Blues’ East Midlands roster featured several outstanding players, but Jackson and Fernandez stood out.

Outside of his goal, Fernandez put on a fantastic display in the park. The goal was superbly scored by the Blues’ number fifteen after he skillfully controlled a feed from Fernandez and dribbled past the Foxes’ defense. He finished it off expertly, putting the ball past Leicester’s goalkeeper with the outside of his foot to give his team the lead.

Reporter Gill Clark of GOAL gave him an outstanding 8 out of 10 for his performance. The football journalist gushed over the Senegalese forward, calling him the “star man” of the Blues’ match at the King Power Stadium.
