Up to 21 passes were made before the final third, and one of them found the Dane inside the box, who scored expertly to provide the vital equalizer.

fits Amorim’s system perfectly.Mazraoui generated one significant opportunity and made three crucial passes. Three of his five long balls found a teammate, and his one crossing attempt found its mark.

He was as solid defensively, and even though Antony occasionally looked unsteady, the Morocco international provided him with plenty of cover and put out the threat whenever it presented itself.

Amorim couldn’t have asked for more from Mazraoui, and since Leny Yoro hasn’t fully recovered, he will probably be playing this position for a little longer.
