Los Angeles Dodgers sluggers Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman
Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman were integral parts of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ success this season. The two combined for 76 home runs during the 2024 season, helping their club win its eighth World Series title.
It was exactly what L.A. was expected to do coming into the season. After their monster offseason signing guys like Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Tyler Glasnow, there was a ton of pressure put on the team to perform.
Now, fans can get a close look at some of the gear the players wore during their World Series run. The champions have officially been put on display in Cooperstown.

In the display are various sets of gear the team used, including jerseys, cleats, and even catcher’s gear. Two of the biggest items include Ohtani’s Game 3 jersey and Freeman’s Game 1 cleats.
The players were the ones to donate these items for them to be put on display for the public. For those looking to see the display firsthand, it will be made available through the conclusion of the 2025 postseason.

The Dodgers are in good shape heading into the 2025 season. They will see Shohei Ohtani returning to the mound as a two-way player, alongside newly signed Blake Snell.
With Snell, this rotation has the opportunity to be one of the best. This club now has four starters who would likely be used as aces if they played elsewhere.
Snell was the first premiere player to come off the board this winter, but he is not the only player the club is zoning in on. They would love to have slugger Teoscar Hernandez back next season, and the two sides are reportedly close to reaching a deal.
Outside of Hernandez, they have also been in talks with superstar free agent Juan Soto. The Dodgers are one of a handful of teams that have already met and offered the slugger a contract this winter.
Soto is the prized possession of the winter and would be the better signing, but L.A. would not go wrong with Hernandez. Either player would be a great option to stack alongside Freddie Freeman at the top of the batting lineup.
